Room Rental
Rates are dependent on the space requested and the type of user. User types are;
- Group 4: Commercial or personal - pays 100% of rate
- Group 3: Non-profit group charging admission - pays 75% of rate
- Group 2: Non-profit group not charging admission- pays 50% of rate
- Group 1: Library/ City - no charge

Rates are daily, may be divided in half for partial day use
- Third floor ( all 3 galleries plus meeting room) - $850
- Meeting Room or Gallery 1 - $300
- Gallery 2 or 3 $250
- Computer Lab 1 or 2 - $200
- Board Room or Seminar Room - $100
- Use of Servery $50
- Use of Piano - restricted and not available for rental at this time
- Use of A/V equipment $10 per item
- Overtime rates for use that begins during library hours and continues after library closure $50. per hour billed to nearest quarter hour

Equipment Rental
PST and GST are charged on equipment rental fees. Equipment rentals must be arranged at least one day in advance, by telephone to 968-6731.
- For use outside library - slide projector; overhead projector; screen; flipchart
- For use with Library room rental- all above plus 16mm film projector; VCR and monitor; microphone and speakers

Fee: |
For Non-Profit Community Groups: $5.00 per item per day
For Commercial Groups: $10.00 per item per day
Overdues: Daily rental fee applies for each day overdue
Damages: Charges are assessed on each item based on extent of damage/ ability to repair. Maximum charge is replacement cost,plus processing fee of $7.00 per item. |
