The Children's and Youth Services is located on the first floor. All year around, we offer various fun-packed and educational programs for kids 2 and up to encourage family literacy, inspire the imagination and guide children to be a life-long love of reading.   All programs are free except special performances. Some programs require registration. An adult caregiver must stay with children under 8 years old all the time.

Winter Storytimes

Each Storytime will be full of stories, songs, games, and activities beginning 10:00 a.m. in the children's program room. All Storytimes will run for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Belleville Public Library and the Canadian Federation of University Women are proud to present "The Rhythmobile" -a super-powered, all-terrain, hybrid vehicle - has unfortunately run out of gas.  In an unknown land, who knows if any fuel can be found? Time is running out. Before falling too far behind in the rally race, our two adventurers immediately begin searching for their precious fuel: rhythm. Tickets:$5 Under age 2 is free
